Amix Heavy Lift entire business is based on recycling. We are proud of the fact that many of the materials we now recycle are no longer going to our landfills as in the past. We are also proud that we are the stopping point for a lot of hazardous materials, which we collect and dispose of in the proper manner. This stops them from polluting our environment.
Amix Heavy Lift promotes and applies safe environmental practices. We have on staff, a full time, on call, Environmental Officer (Brian Ross 604-313-3526, 24 hrs) and a full time assistant.
Amix Heavy Lift collects all fluids from vehicles and has them recycled. We do the same with batteries, freon and tires.
Amix Heavy Lift also participates in the Clean Air Foundation's "Switch Out Program" which is sponsored by Environment Canada. They remove and properly dispose of mercury switches from all vehicles that contain them.
